SPEED & PERFORMANCE
NIU introduces an advanced brushless magnet motor by BOSCH which strikes an ideal equilibrium between power and energy efficiency. Slip through winding city streets or cruise down major boulevards with ease. In SPORT mode, the NQi GTS reaches top speeds of 70 km/h (55km/h DYNAMIC, and 25km/h ECO mode), making urban travel faster than ever.
FIELD ORIENTED CONTROL (FOC)
To establish communication with the NQi-Series motor, NIU engineered the FOC vector controller. It dynamically manages the powerful motor to provide smooth acceleration and an incredible riding experience.
ELECTRONIC BRAKING SYSTEM (EBS)
In a conventional scooter, braking generates kinetic energy that often goes to waste. However, with NIU's EBS, this kinetic energy from braking is harnessed and restored to the battery, potentially increasing your range by up to 6%.
CLOUD ECU
As the brain of the vehicle,the Cloud ECU monitors, collects and analyzes vehicle information dozens of times per minute. This lets you remotely monitor the vehicle diagnostics and GPS anti-theft system. Plus, its OTA features allows you to wirelessly upgrade your scooter's software without having to bring it into a service station.
3-AXIS MOTION SENSOR
If your vehicle is moved, the positioning system will give you accurate real-time location data. If your scooter is bumped, you will be immediately notified. If your scooter is knocked over, an alert will be sent to your phone. If the scooter’s battery is disconnected when the scooter is ‘locked’, you will receive a pop-up notification on your phone.
BATTERY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM (BMS)
The BMS does more than provide a precise calculation of charge and discharge. It analyzes the current, voltage, temperature, communications, and 10 other electrical protection mechanisms to ensure that each section of the battery is protected and operating efficiently.
KEYLESS IGNITION & MOTOR LOCK
The NQi-Series key allows you to remotely unlock your scooter from up to 50 meters away. The motor lock is an additional layer of protection and can be activated if an unauthorized movement of your scooter is made. You can be rest assured that the lock can only be activated when the scooter is in a "parking" mode.
LIGHTING SYSTEM
From the iconic halo light to the one-piece wrap-around tail light, the full LED lighting system provides a wider, safer, and more efficient lighting range. The 360° illumination ensures you are safe at night and auto-off indicators offer extra level of convenience.
